Invest Talent is assisting our client - a startup import-export company in Vietnam with a team boasting over 30 years of experience in import-export and international business, in seeking a motivated Export Trader to spearhead the export of Vietnamese products, including agricultural goods (e.g., rice, coffee, pepper), seafood (e.g., shrimp, fish), handicrafts, and canned food, to international markets. This role focuses on identifying market opportunities, negotiating contracts, and managing export logistics to ensure successful global trade.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct market research to identify demand and opportunities for Vietnamese products in international markets.
- Build and maintain relationships with overseas buyers, distributors, and partners.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of sale to optimize profitability for Vietnamese exporters.
- Coordinate with local suppliers to ensure product quality and availability meet international standards.
- Manage export logistics, including shipping arrangements, customs clearance, and preparation of export documentation (e.g., bills of lading, certificates of origin). Ensure compliance with destination country requirements/regulations.
- Handle international payment processes, including letters of credit, and mitigate financial risks (e.g., currency fluctuations).
- Monitor global market trends and provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management.

**Qualification**:

- Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Economics, Trade, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in export trading, ideally with agricultural products, seafood, handicrafts, or canned food.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken); additional languages (e.g., Chinese, Japanese) are an advantage.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Established network of contacts in key export markets (e.g., USA, EU, Japan).
- Knowledge of Vietnamese export procedures and certifications for agricultural and seafood products.
- Familiarity with trade agreements such as CPTPP or EVFTA to leverage tariff benefits.
- Experience in Russia market is a plus.

**Working type**: Based HCM or Remote

**Working time**: Monday - Friday (9:00am - 6:00pm)

Pay: From 25,000,000₫ per month
