In 2022, we’ve joined forces with Districon, a leading supply chain and logistics consultancy with 50 years’ experience developing strategies and solving and issues for integrated logistics and supply chain management. Our joint team forms the Supply Chain & Logistics Centre of Excellence within Haskoning. We provide top-tier logistics & supply chain advisory as well as digital supply chain advanced analytics services on top of Haskoning traditional engineering and consultancy domain knowledge. **What will you do as a Supply Chain & Logistics Consultant**: This role will address a wide variety of supply chain and logistics challenges of our clients across the Asia Pacific region. You will be working with an impressive range of clients to understand and capture their requirements and then deliver projects with your data-driven approach, industry expertise and our digital tools. You will have the opportunity to help define how the engineering industry integrates with supply chain and uses advanced analytics to optimize and de-risk designs and solve the operational challenges of our clients. You will use your skills, along with your teammates, for projects such as: - Propose an optimal logistics footprint, process re-design and material flows for an existing multi-national agri-business operation. - Preparing and aligning the business case for automation for a leading F&B company. - Using simulation modelling to de-risk and optimize the design and operations for a consumer goods factory and warehouse. - Modelling the future Supply Chain Network for an international wholesale company. - Working with our Engineering colleagues to design the warehouse and logistics concepts for a new manufacturing site. **Where you will work**: At Haskoning, you will join an independent, employee-owned international consultancy that combines engineering, design, and consultancy services with software and technology. We collaborate with leading clients in markets such as infrastructure, climate resilience, renewable energy, decarbonisation of industry, and sustainable mobility. **What you bring**: - An advanced degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Transportation, etc.), Supply Chain, Operations Research, Logistics, or equivalent relevant fields. - 5-10 years relevant experience in the Supply Chain & Logistics field. - Project management experience and fundamentals. In some (sub-)projects you will take the lead, managing customer stakeholders as well as your consultant co-workers. - Able to analyze material and information flows within logistics, and production environments to design and optimize site intralogistics flows and processes. - Client management and communication skills to both support winning and delivering successful projects. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Fluent in English and Vietnamese - excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Can work independently on projects, but is as well a powerful team player who wants to work on a wide variety of projects. - Willingness to travel, both for trips to our office in Jakarta, or to APAC clients. **Nice-to-have experience and skills**: - Familiarity and an interest in supply chain optimization, simulation, and mathematical modelling techniques and software to support our technical experts in project delivery. - Our team works primarily with the simulation software WITNESS Horizon, optimization platform AIMMS, and SQL, Python, and PowerBI. - Warehouse or DC layout and material flow (re)design including material handling and storage automation solution concept designs and tendering. - Experience in a blend of both industry (functional supply chain roles) as well as demonstrated supply chain & operations consulting experience. **Your personal characteristics include**: - Entrepreneurial; you treat the business as your own and are willing to take calculated risks. - Curious; you go to the heart of the issue and always seek best results. - Empathetic; you empathize with the customer and think along from his or her position. - Solution-oriented; you convert customer demands into analysis, solution design and your project approach. **What we offer you**: - Competitive salary package and allowance; - Annual salary and performance revi
