**Role Description**

As a Copywriter SEO at Splashy Fish, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence and driving traffic to our website through compelling and optimized content. You will be responsible for crafting engaging product descriptions, informative blog posts, and persuasive marketing copy that not only showcases our products but also resonates with our target audience. This position offers the opportunity to work remotely at your own time and make a tangible impact on our digital marketing efforts.

**HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT**
- **SEO Optimization**: Conduct keyword research and integrate relevant keywords seamlessly into content to improve organic search rankings and increase visibility.
- **Product Descriptions**: Write concise and persuasive product descriptions that highlight key features, benefits, and unique selling points while adhering to SEO best practices.
- **Blog Management**:Develop engaging blog topics and create informative articles that educate and engage our audience while driving organic traffic to the website.
- **Collaboration**: Collaborate with the marketing team to align content strategies with overall marketing objectives and contribute creative ideas for campaigns and promotions.
- **Performance Analysis**: Monitor and analyze the performance of content using analytics tools to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and make data-driven optimizations.
- **Stay Updated**: Keep abreast of industry trends, SEO best practices, and algorithm updates to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.

**You have these minimum qualifications**:

- Ability IELTS scores or TOEFT
- Proven experience as a copywriter or content creator, preferably in an e-commerce, digital agency or digital marketing environment.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and experience with keyword research and optimization.
- Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in grammar and punctuation.
- Ability to adapt writing style to target different audiences and platforms.
- Proficiency in using content management systems (CMS) and familiarity with SEO tools such as Ubersuggest, Answerthepublic, NP digital products, SEMrush or Ahrefs is a plus.
- Self-motivated and able to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.

**It would be useful if you have**:

- **Research Skills**: Ability to conduct thorough research on various topics related to aquatic pet care, aquarium maintenance, and related niches. Utilize insights to create informative and compelling content that adds value to our audience.
- **Analytical Mindset**: Comfortable working with data and analytics tools to track content performance, identify trends, and make data-driven optimizations. Proficiency in Google Analytics or similar platforms is advantageous.
