Senior Specialist, Chemical Lab

To support the daily operation in a good discipline in Chemical laboratory. **The Company**: We’re a global provider of quality control and compliance services that helps brands and retailers manage their supply chains. QIMA's Operations team is a place where you can grow your technical and management skills - while helping us bring trust to global trade. You can help us maintain our high service quality by accepting and conducting all testing assignments, issuing testing reports, and ensuring result accuracy. **The Job**: - Conduct routine chemical tests according to standard operating procedures, including but not limited to sample weighing, and performing extraction/ digestion, column cleanup, rotary evaporation etc. - Assist sample cutting and result reporting. - Operate the analytical instruments (e.g. GC/MS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, HPLC etc). - Conduct equipment maintenance and calibration. - Record and maintain the test data in the required format accurately. - Handle chemicals, solvents, acids, and reagents safety. - Chemical Engineer or B.A degree in natural sciences - ISO 17025, technical training, 5S, Lab safety, etc.. - Familiar with ISO 17025 quality system and accreditation requirements. - Good communication skills. - Able to operate the test instrument, e.g., AAS, GC/MS, HPLC, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, UV-VIS will be an advantage. - >1 year’s working experience in a testing laboratory. - Good command of written and spoken English and Vietnamese - Analytical mind and logical thinking. - Initiative, organized and able to work independently.
