We’re entering a growth-focused phase — and we’re looking for a **Business Development Lead** to take charge of our sales engine, support our productized offerings, and help scale our client base across target markets like **Singapore, Thailand, and the broader APAC region**.
**Role Overview**
As the Business Development Lead, you’ll own and lead KVY TECH’s **day-to-day growth operation** — from lead generation to deal closing. You’ll collaborate closely with the founders (who focus on strategy and delivery) and take ownership of building a predictable pipeline, improving service positioning, and developing scalable sales processes.
You’ll play a crucial role in expanding our reach, increasing win rates, and helping KVY TECH evolve into one of Vietnam’s most respected studios in **ecommerce and AI development**.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Growth & Pipeline Ownership**
- Define and execute outbound strategies for key services (ecommerce kits, CMS migration, AI MVPs)
- Manage and optimize a simple CRM pipeline (e.g. Notion, HubSpot, or similar)
- Own weekly and monthly pipeline reporting and forecasting
**Sales & Client Development**
- Handle the full sales cycle: qualification → discovery → proposal → negotiation → close
- Collaborate with technical and project teams to scope and present high-value solutions
- Maintain long-term relationships with prospects and past clients for referrals or upsells
**Strategy & Positioning**
- Help improve service packaging and outbound messaging based on market feedback
- Work closely with marketing to align campaigns, content, and positioning
- Identify new market segments or service opportunities based on trends and inbound feedback
**Process & System Building**
- Develop repeatable playbooks for outbound, sales calls, follow-ups, and objections
- Refine qualification criteria and lead scoring models
- Share insights from client conversations to improve positioning and delivery
**Requirements**:
- 3-6 years of experience in B2B business development or sales (preferably in a dev agency, consultancy, or SaaS environment)
- Proven success managing the full sales cycle and generating $200K+ in closed deals per year
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills
- Familiarity with CRM tools, cold outreach platforms, and inbound qualification processes
- Deep understanding of service-based sales (consultative, value-driven)
- Self-starter who thrives in startup-like, fast-moving environments
**Bonus Points**
- Experience in the ecommerce, CMS, or AI development ecosystem
- Has built or scaled outbound engines from scratch
- Based in or has experience selling into Southeast Asia markets (especially Singapore)
