**ABOUT THE POSITION**
- Create stunning real-time visual effects for games and cinematics using a mastery of high-quality particle effects, meshes, textures, and shaders.
- Optimize effects for performance.
- Work with our leads and supervisors to ensure the technical and artistic quality of deliverables.
- Work with the lead to support the team in meeting objectives by articulating an FX’s artistic and technical needs.
- Support in establishing a real-time VFX production pipeline in coordination with clients’ requirements.
- Provide technical expertise to decide which technologies to pursue and avoid.
- At least 2 years’ experience as a real-time VFX artist with hands-on technical and artistic experience in Unreal Engine, Unity, or a comparable game engine.
- Highly skilled with Photoshop or Affinity, Maya, and or 3DS Max, and Blender.
- Strong at creating textures by either hand-painting or simulation.
- Highly organized individual with an eye for details and a passion for sharing and mentoring.
- Killer portfolio with a number of beautiful projects or artworks included.
- Good working knowledge of English.
- Do play video games.

**Preferred**:

- Experience with other content creation software: Embergen, Substance Designer, Substance Painter, After Effects.
- Experience with Houdini and dynamic simulations.
- English proficiency is preferred.
