**Job description**:

- Gear Inc. is an operated Game Development Studio with offices expanding globally. We are looking for a Security Analyst with an emphasis on operations, monitoring, and analysis of threats to the company's internal systems. The team uses cutting-edge technologies to build high-performing, scalable cloud-based solutions in a safe, secure, and agile fashion.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Analyze, assess, and report security detections from SIEM and other security tools in a timely manner;
- Assess, triage, and prioritize security alerts from logging and monitoring systems;
- Investigate to determine the root cause and document security incidents;
- Work with other teams to mitigate and recover from security incidents;
- Help colleagues install security software and understand information security management;
- Patch to keep operating systems and software up to date at all times;
- Tune detection content and playbooks;
- Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain a high-security standard;
- Continuously refine IT operation processes and procedures to ensure top-tier and secure service delivery;
- Improved cybersecurity technologies and processes by contributing to tunes and playbook development;
- Continuous development, operation and improvement of security monitoring and incident response processes, toolings, and solutions as required;
- Support other daily IT and security initiatives.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in SOC Analyst, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and antivirus.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing/switching.
- Basic programming proficiency, sufficient to write and execute scripts from the command line.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical people.
- Knowledge of security frameworks and standards;
- Possess good knowledge of Linux and Bash shell;
- Have experience or knowledge about Mac devices;
- Scripting and automation abilities;
- Programming experience such as Java,.Net, or Python;
- Having relevant professional certifications is a plus.
