The** Market Insights Team** helps shape strategic and operational decisions in the company by providing compelling insights into industry developments, market movements and competitive dynamics in the businesses that Grab operates - namely transport, food, payments, and platform services. **Get to know the Role**

You will build and evaluate models and data sources to enable decision-making across Southeast Asia. Our team comprises individual from varied backgrounds, each bringing a unique set of experiences and skills to the table. Someone who excels at teamwork, and can navigate through uncertainties would succeed in this role.

You will report to the Senior Analytics Manager - Market Insights and work onsite in Grab HCMC, Vietnam office (Mapletree Business Centre).

**The Critical Tasks You Will Perform**

- You will define metrics as well as develop models to understand the competitive landscape across multiple segments of Grab's business.
- You will work with various stakeholders to define data requirements to allow the calculation of your metrics and models.
- You will evaluate the validity and usefulness of different data of varying sources and types.
- You will ensure the integrity of the data you use and produce, identifying anomalies and their root causes, and work with stakeholders to address these anomalies where they exist.
- You will develop pipelines for the work you do, including pipelines for the models you build.
- You will understand how Grab's products and businesses relate to your data, metrics, and models, and take actions or make recommendations using this knowledge.
- You will conduct in-depth data analysis and create insights to influence Grab's strategic and operational decision-making.

**Qualifications**
**What Essential Skills You Will Need**

- **At least 4 years of experience** **in Data Analytics, Quantitative Analysis**, or related technical fields.
- Strong foundation in **Statistical Analysis** combined with expert-level proficiency in **SQL** and **Python/R**.
- Bachelor's degree in **Business Analytics, Economics, Data Science,** or a related quantitative field.
- **In-depth knowledge of the Vietnam market**, capable of partnering with country teams to drive strategic insights.
- **Professional proficiency in English** with strong written and verbal communication skills.
