Main responsibilities:
- Technical Excellence_- Coordinate training (online and offline) for clinicians, administrators, and engineers in the use of liquid oxygen systems- Support the development of training programs and curriculum for the use of liquid medical oxygen- Co-deliver trainings to clinicians, administrators, and engineers- Consolidate data and support analysis for a national assessment of medical oxygen infrastructure and equipment- Write and edit reports in English and Vietnamese, translate content from English to Vietnamese and Vietnamese to English
- Project Coordination_- Support the assessment of 49 central and provincial hospitals on existing medical oxygen infrastructure and equipment including current situation and needs- Contribute to provincial efforts to receive approval for donations of liquid oxygen equipment- Support approval processes with government partners to conduct trainings and relevant conferences/workshops- Support the development and execution of events to celebrate achievement of technical deliverables- Support the growth and development of partnerships vital to the success of the project, especially with USAID, the Ministry of Health, various Department of Health and other partners working on COVID-19 interventions
Experience and abilities for the position:
- A bachelors’ degree in public health, medicine, engineering, laboratory sciences or a related field- Demonstrated ability to support technical trainings and collect qualitative and quantitative data- Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize- Able to manage tight deadlines- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Vietnamese- Ability to travel as necessary
