Senior Research Manager

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT
- Manages accounts to ensure as a team all account deliverables are met
- Accountable for the accurate and timely delivery of account outputs including data tables, KPIs, presentations, reports and workshops - balancing own analysis and creation of deliverables with delegating within the team
- Responsible for accurate analyses, data checks, writes, checks and crafts reports and presentations to ensure deliverables meet client/seniors needs and generate insight and impact for clients business
- Delegates to team effectively, providing constructive feedback and support for other account members to ensure account responsibilities and deliverables are met to a high standard in agreed timelines
- Maximizes account efficiency by reviewing, improving and streamlining processes and systems without compromising quality

ANALYSIS AND RESEARCH EXPERTISE
- Implements appropriate research solutions to drive meaningful insight for clients’ needs and their business
- Applies experienced costing, sample design, questionnaire design, data spec and chart spec principles
- Takes a lead role to formulate, articulate and validate hypotheses to help build appropriate, relevant and impactful stories
- Understand and synthesise data from various sources (e.g. sales data, media spend data)

CLIENT MANAGEMENT AND CONSULTANCY
- Key clients, key stakeholders, and their needs
- The client’s business and strategy
- Client brands and communication activity
- Client markets and competitors
- Deliver effective advice for your clients
- Contribute to, and facilitate client discussions to better understand their business issues
- Experienced interpretation of data and ability to articulate insights clearly and impactfully
- Provide a point of view on brand, media and communications issues aligned with the company philosophies
- Develop strong relationships with clients to the extent they are perceived as a key member of the team that can offer advice and support
- Present impactfully on some accounts
- Demonstrate confidence and good interpersonal skills in client facing situations - Actively contributes to client and agency meetings

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Minimum 5 years of relevant research experience, esp. in Qualitative
- Educated to a degree level, preferable in marketing or business
- Have a curious mind and can think out of the box
- Strong communications and presentation skills
- Fluent in Vietnamese and good command of English
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage and execute consistent delivery of high-quality respondents in a timely manner - on specification, no professional respondents, mínimal no-shows, FGDs always full, passing QC requirements
- Manage consistency of recruitment across locations (rural and urban)
- Coordinate logístical support for running fieldwork where the company facilities/resources are not available (e.g., technical setup in hotels, etc.)
- Manage a team of project managers, recruiters, freelancers and technical staff to ensure consistent delivery of quality recruitment and logístical support for the qualitative team
- Conduct regular reviews of team and freelancer performance
- Able to support and work effectively and efficiently with client service, working collaboratively, flexibly and advising as required to ensure successful projects
- Optimize project costs wherever possible while ensuring quality is maintained
- Execute QC and administrative procedures accurately and in a timely manner for CS, finance and HR, including accounting for incentives, freelancer contracts and other requirements as specified by the business
- Provide regular reporting on qualitative recruitment performance as required by line manager
- Ensure compliance with ISO and other audit requirements (internal and external)
