**Introduction**:
The Technical Project Manager collaborates with the product team to efficiently run customer affecting projects, thereby driving customer satisfaction, capacity management, compliance & cost reductions. This position works with all the stakeholders to assemble project teams, assign responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedules to ensure timely completion of projects by meeting project milestones. The technical Project Manager is flexible, innovative, organized, and detail-oriented with a background in managing technical projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Able to break down and execute on complicated projects end-to-end.
- Seeks ways to simplify and streamline communication, processes and deliverables.
- Overall global project ownership and delivery - serving as customer communication coordinator on internal projects which are externally facing.
- Work with customers to develop and deliver projects that best serve their needs.
- Acts as a customer advocate for all aspects of the project.
- Serves as a liaison between Optimizely and customers to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Weekly reporting of project progress.
- Ensures compliance with procedures and standards.

**Knowledge and Experience**:

- Project Management, Test Management or Technical Account Management experience with technical complex systems.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills are highly valued since the position works across most of the business areas.
- Project Management skills, knowledge of agile and waterfall project methodology is considered a bonus.
- Adapts to new or shifting realities in the industry.
- Ability to lead and motivate a staff of employees.
- Must possess a sense of urgency and passion for customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.

**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or Telecommunication or equivalent in working experience. Certified in project management preferred.
