**Job description**:
Change Management
- Works with manager to evaluate current sourcing function, establish and drive a comprehensive and strategic sourcing management framework.
- Works with manager to initiate changes and improvements where necessary and value-adding, and manage the change processes, to improve internal operational excellence in sourcing function globally.
- Project leadership for assigned improvement projects
Normal Operations
- For core countries in Asia (where there are dedicated Country Sourcing personnel): Central Sourcing team will work side by side with Country Sourcing personnel to provide strategic support, guidance and training. (Country Sourcing personnel is part of Country Operations team.)
- For the other non-core countries: Central Sourcing team will be directly responsible for day-to-day sourcing operations which includes managing the costing and supplier relationship, and developing new suppliers when necessary.
- On a global level:
- Support manager for management of business allocation process and standards for global sourcing team.
- Consolidate, analyze, and report on global sourcing performance metrics and KPIs, which includes key areas like managing costing competitiveness, managing supplier relationship, and developing new suppliers based on sales grow forecast
- Identify areas for training, draft training materials, and work with manager to conduct training to Country Sourcing personnel in Operations team.
- Analyze and influence Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), directing negotiation efforts.
- Analyze aggregated performance of supply base and initiate improvements
- Support manager to develop and implement Operating Standards
- Development and implementation of Supply Contract standards
- Contribute to Supplier Profiles from sourcing perspective
- Coordinate production and optimization of supplier scorecard
**Qualifications**:
- Total above 6 years working experience with at least 3 years in sourcing function, preferably within packaging/printing industry. Good understanding of (packaging) production, factory operation, quality and supply chain process.
- Financial understanding
- Lean/6-Sigma is a plus
- Good presentation and training skills
**Personal qualities**:
- Receptive to change. Skilled and motivated to manage change process.
- Analytical and data driven
- Able to work with well with ambiguity and under pressure
- Multi-tasking
- Goal oriented, driven
- Team player and collaborative
- Ability to manage and perform within cross-cultural environments.
- Strong communication and influencing skills (in both English and local language). Good at building and managing relationships
- Some international travel may be required.
