**Senior Kotlin + Spring Boot Developer (Remote/ Hybrid)** - Company: itworks' Client - YoE: 5+ - English: Advanced - Working Type: Hybrid (Mon-Wed - Fri: at the office Dist 2. HCMC): Preferred / Remote - Working Location: Dist. 2, HCMC / Remote - Working hours: Mon-Fri - Social Insurance: Yes Kotlin Developer will be part of a fast growing team of developers to support a range of front end and back end projects for a medium Australian client. You will be working with a small team of senior developers and QA initially to build velocity and support as a foundation team. We work within an Agile SCRUM methodology. Domain: Real estate and property management Team size: > 15 (AU and India) - Design, develop, and maintain backend services using **Spring Boot** and **Kotlin**. - Build and manage **microservices architecture** for scalability and resilience. - Work with **PostgreSQL** for database design, queries, and optimization. - Deploy, monitor, and maintain services on **AWS cloud infrastructure**. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Frontend, DevOps, QA) to deliver end-to-end solutions. - Ensure **code quality, security, and performance** through best practices. **Must have skills and experience**: - Strong hands-on experience with **Spring Boot** and **Kotlin**. - Proven experience in **microservices development** and **RESTful APIs**. - Solid understanding of **PostgreSQL** (schemas, queries, tuning). - Experience with **AWS services** (ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.) is a plus. - Knowledge of **Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines** and containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes). - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in **agile teams**. - Ability to **communicate well in English** with foreign clients - Experience working with foreign companies, in particular Australia - Experience working in a fast paced agile team - Is available to travel to Australia where required **About the company** Based in Melbourne, Seattle and Saigon, the company is a fast growing, small software firm that develops for clients as an agency as well as internal self owned/funded software.
