JOB OVERVIEW

The position is responsible for importation management from oversea to Vietnam; coordinating and optimizing the flow of materials from our Asia vendor base to our global operations sites. This includes the movement of all the product category i.e. Club, Accessories and bags from vendors to customers or subsidiaries and will include the management of export logistics service providers within the region.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive freight consolidation and improve container utilization rate.- Analyze daily shipping data to identify opportunities of freight consolidation for our multiple brands, and collaborate with all key internal stakeholders, vendors and logistics suppliers to make consolidations happen.- Create weekly report of container utilization and work with Global Supply Chain and vendors to improve container utilization rate.- Work with Engineering team to standardize carton dimension and packaging methods in vendors.- Run container loading software of Cube-IQ to guide loadings to vendors, educate vendors to properly use loading software.- Monitor and improve the packaging methods and loading layout in vendors.

Coordinate Asia Export freight from supplier to Callaway DC’s- Facilitates movement of international freight from suppliers to regional distribution centers.- Working with Global Transportation & Logistics (GTL) personnel and global operations resources, act as key contact point for suppliers and freight forwarders in export international freight movements.- Working with Global Transportation and Global Supply Chain, provide first-mile oversight of freight forwarders.

Support global international freight movements.- Operates as the contact point for CGC GTL personnel, global operations resources, Asian vendors and logistics service providers to resolve logístical and shipment challenges and opportunities related to export logistics.- Support the development and documentation of all local (Asia origin) standard operating procedures with Callaway operations team, Asia manufacturing vendors and Asia logistics service providers.- Contribute to reviews
