**I. KEY JOB DUTIES**

**_
Game artist (80%):_**
- Designing with the user experience in mind.
- Liaising between developer and game planner.
- Adhering to the production schedule.
- Research & keep updated with new art genres, themes, styles, and trends.
- Create & follow up Art Direction for games.
- Curating and cataloging the asset library of the team.
- Sketching concept designs and key elements of the visual style.
- Design game logo, banner, poster, store kit, and end card with various sizes.
- Design game screens with art assets, optimize size, and import into Unity.
- Brainstorm with the team and contribute ideas to development.

**_ Game Animator & VFX (20%):_**
- Liaising with the Game Designer and Dev teams on the scope of effects.
- Working with Game Designer to plan a schedule.
- Be able to use Unity or be willing to learn to use Unity 3D to make Animation & VFX.
- Modeled various art assets using the Unity 3D engine.
- Porting finished art to Unity 3D, ensuring the final art runs to full visual resolution.
- Working within the limits of Unity3D, curating file sizes, and loading speeds.
- Creating effects templates and animations.
- Adding lighting and shading effects to all elements, ensuring consistency in color, intensity, and lighting levels.

**II. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT / SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES**

KNOWLEDGE:_**
- Academic background in art, design, or equivalent programs.
- Possess a good understanding of design standards and visual hierarchy.
- Knowledge of visual language: texture, color theory, dimension, scale, perspective, shade, composition depth of field, proportion, spatial awareness, movement, lightning.
- Knowledge about art concepts and the environment.
- Knowledge of zoology, layout design, texturing, and asset creation.
- Solid knowledge of the principles of 2D/3D Animation, Video Effects is a plus.
- _A strong understanding of UX, specializing in mobile games _**_is a plus._**:

- _User experience-related certification _**_is a plus._**:

- _Knowledge of game genres and trends in gaming _**_is a plus._**

**_ SKILL:_**
- Strong drawing skills, ability to visualize and design digital painting and illustration from abstract ideas.
- Proficiency in using design tools (Photoshop, AI, etc...).
- Able to set art styles for new games or keep up with existing projects.
- Able to work on all aspects of the game from the concepts, UI, VFX, icons, and logos to optimizing assets.
- Able to independently research and create quality solutions to problems.
- Good at written & spoken English.
- Able to create animations by using Spine or other tools.
- 3+ years of experience in the mobile game industry.
- _3+ years experience in 3D Art, Animation & VFX _**_is a plus._**:

- _Can use Unity to design animations & video effects _**_is a big plus._**:

- _The ability to create sound effects, conduct audio mixes, and design _**_is a big plus._**
