THE OPPORTUNITY
The Student Exchange Officer is an integral member of the Academic Engagement and Global Exchange Department of VinUniversity. The post holder will proactively support the work of the Department by promoting and implementing the University’s various student international mobility programs; as well as coordinating schemes to internationalize the student experience and curriculum. In addition, the post holder will provide assistance regarding the University’s Transnational Education partnerships, including the management of existing international partnerships and the establishment of new international partnerships.
This career opportunity would be most suited for someone with experience in academic exchange and international collaboration. Good command of English is required along with a high level of administration, interpersonal and customer service skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Reports to: Academic Engagement Manager

1. Administer Student Exchange Programs by coordinating the following main activities:

- Liaise closely and effectively with faculties, departments, and professional services across VinUniversity and partner institutions worldwide, as necessary.
- Support the organization and delivery of mobility activities.
- Act as the main point of contact for information and guidance on university procedures for mobility programs.
- Ensure exchange students are identified and added to central records in a timely fashion.
- Provide the Academic Engagement Manager and the Head of Academic Engagement & Student Exchange with regular performance report on inbound and outbound study activities or upon request.
- Perform grants disbursement and other finance-related duties.
- Develop, maintain and update content for Student Exchange on VinUniversity’s website and social media networks, along with information packs/documents for students, staff members and partners.

2. Support External Engagement activities
- Organize meetings and in charge of the reception of delegation from partner institutions to VinUni.
- Develop and keep track of contact database related to student exchange programs.

3. Other duties as assigned by management.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

1. Education and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree is required. Experience studying abroad is an advantage.
- A minimum of three (03) years of work experience in an international office environment or a higher education setting in a role delivering a wide range of administrative tasks.
- Previous experience with international academic exchange will be given priority.

2. Knowledge, skills and abilities
- Knowledge of different education systems in other countries is an advantage.
- Good time management skills, resilience, ability to multi-task effectively and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent administrative and project coordination skills, with the ability to meet agreed standards, attention to detail and timeframes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in English and Vietnamese.
