**RECRUITMENT FOR EDUCATION AND CHILD PROTECTION OFFICER**

Good Neighbors is an international, non-profit humanitarian organization that plans, implements and raises funds for the provision of services in child education, community development, health, sanitation, and disaster relief projects working in 49 countries.

Good Neighbors International in Vietnam (GNI) is implementing Community Development Projects (CDP) based on child sponsorship in 5 provinces: Ha Giang, Tuyen Quang, Hoa Binh, Thanh Hoa and Ho Chi Minh city. We focus on education, water & sanitation, and income generation sectors in different areas of Vietnam.

**Reports to**: Education and Child Protection Team Manager

**1. KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS**

Country Director, General Director, Managers/ Team Managers/ Officers in HO, PMs, Project Officers

GNI’s Donors, Partners, Governmental. Officials, INGOs, Communities.

**2. MAIN DUTIES**

**1.**Manage and coordinate activities under the Child Capacity Development program (60%)**
- Develop plans and develop this field according to the direction of GNI and the overall plan of the Education and Child Protection group;
- Connect resources, coordinate with partners to implement related activities/projects;
- Connect, exchange, coordinate with GNI headquarters in Korea and countries in the global GNI network related to Child Capacity Development programs
- Coordinate activities related to this field in GNI project locations.

**2.**Management and coordination the special project (30%)**

**3.**Other tasks of the team and department (10%)**
- Coordinate with staff of the Education and Child Protection team, Project Operations or other departments in joint activities or activities that require coordination and support.
- Other jobs under the assignment of Team Manager.

**3. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**

**Education**:University graduate or higher in relevant majors (education, psychology, social work).

**Work experience**
- Minimum 1 year of similar role
- Able to work under high pressure.

**Skills**
- Ability to evaluate, analyze and solve problems well; individual work management and team collaboration.
- Have creative, innovative thinking and willingness to challenge; good ability in project management.
- Able to effectively use English in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

**Attitude**
- Sociable, responsive
- Committed working with GNI at least 2 years.
- Enthusiastic in work
- Truthful and accountable
