Tax Analyst

We have an agile CFO team including Finance & Accounting, Commercial, Digital & IT, which is a focal point in supporting the growth and scaling COP from the successful start-up to a significantly larger global company. Today the existing team is located mainly in Denmark, Vietnam and Greece, and COP is looking to hire additional team members in Vietnam.

**We are looking for an experienced tax compliance analyst with a legal or tax background to join our Corporate Tax Team.**

Your main task will be to oversee and coordinate the COP Groups global tax compliance, as well as to support and develop the corporate tax department and compliance area in COP. A part of the development journey is to enhance our corporate tax compliance area and creating better process and transparency on the global tax matters.

This is an exciting job opportunity in one of the world’s leading providers of offshore wind project development and installation management services.

You will be involved in the development of our tax function to ensure that COP continues to meet its obligations and grow in terms of size and number of countries in which it operates. The position is expected to grow in line with the company.

**You will support initiatives including**:

- Responsible for corporate tax compliance:_
- Reviewing tax calculations and tax reporting for VAT and CIT globally for COP affiliates
- Actively engage with our global and local tax compliance advisors
- Ensure deadlines and payments of taxes are met
- Liaise with tax authorities and comply to requests
- Support on the Group’s global Transfer Pricing set-up
- Track and ensure local Transfer Pricing requirements are fulfilled
- Maintain appropriate records for compliance purposes
- Assist on global tax related projects
- Support and development of the tax function_
- Develop and maintain processes ensuring high quality tax compliance
- Make relevant information available to other internal teams, such as the invoicing and accounting teams
- Prepare, implement, and execute polices to ensure and document that COP is tax compliant on its global operations.

**To succeed in this role, you**:

- You have 2 to 3 years of experience with global tax matters or tax compliance.
- You have experience in reviewing and understanding regulatory requirements.
- You are competent at working across multiple international jurisdictions.
- Written and oral proficiency in English is a must.
- You can translate complex tax and legal concepts into policies capable of being implemented.
- You are used to a close dialogue with various stakeholders, including advisors, and management.
- You are a team player and thrive in an empowered environment.
