Lead, manage and develop the legal and compliance team, ensuring that team members are adequately trained and that their performance is effectively monitored and evaluated.
Develop and implement performance metrics for the legal and compliance team, measuring team and individual performance against established goals and objectives.
Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support legal and compliance initiatives.
Provide regular reports to senior management and the board of directors on legal and compliance matters, including updates on regulatory changes, legal and compliance risks, and progress on legal and compliance projects.
Foster a culture of compliance within the bank, ensuring that all employees understand the importance of legal and compliance obligations and are motivated to comply with relevant regulations.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring that the bank is well-represented and that any inquiries or concerns are addressed promptly and appropriately.
Act as a liaison between the legal and compliance department and other departments within the bank, ensuring that legal and compliance issues are properly addressed and that communication between departments is effective.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with external legal and compliance professionals, ensuring that the bank has access to the best legal and compliance advice and resources.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with other banks and financial institutions, ensuring that the bank is well-connected and informed of industry best practices.
Keep up-to-date with developments in legal and compliance regulations and best practices, attending relevant conferences and seminars, and ensuring that the legal and compliance team is up-to-date with the latest developments

**Job Requirements**:
A bachelor's degree in law or a related field; a master's degree in law or business administration is preferred. Qualified Lawyer
At least 12 years of experience in legal and compliance roles in the banking industry, including experience in a leadership role.
Thorough knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements, and other relevant regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate complex legal and compliance issues to non-legal professionals.
Experience managing and leading a team, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve goals.
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, with a high degree of initiative and self-motivation.
Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage projects effectively.
Fluency in Vietnamese and English is required.
