Expected Length of Internship: 6 months. As an internship company, we allow flexibility to enroll in classes while working as an intern, as long as it doesn't interfere with the essential functions of the position.

Basic Internship Scope (Project):
The Intern will conduct one of three projects below:
1. OT Management
- Tracking documentation regarding employee overtime, including records of the days, hours, and tasks worked.
- Using historical data and forecasting algorithms to predict the amount of overtime that will be required for each of the following categories: PMs task, Pit-stop, Target change.
- Designing and implementing cross training plans for employees to improve their competency and resourcefulness across different areas.
- Evaluating the success of cross training efforts through feedback from employees and their supervisors, as well as through analyzing performance data.

2. OEE of FE area Improvement

Overall, the job scope appears to center around optimizing the organization's operations by systematically collecting and analyzing data, identifying key contributors to these expenses, and designing and proposing solutions to reduce them. The focus is on improving operational efficiency and reducing costs in a sustainable manner. Standardizing the E-10 status, which likely refers to a type of work order or report used in a specific system.
- By Collecting data on OE of FE (using SAS) and other data collection methods as needed.
- Analyzing this data and creating a top pareto chart, which visually displays the most significant contributors to operating and fuel expenses.
- Developing solutions to address these contributors and presenting these solutions to relevant stakeholders for review and approval.

3. FIFO WIP
- Ensuring that work-in-progress (WIP) is tracked and managed on a first-in, first-out (FIFO) basis within a one-week time frame.
- Being able to identify the location of WIP quickly and accurately on the rack within the given timeframe.
- Analyzing performance data and identifying the top Pareto issues (the 20% of problems that are causing 80% of the issues) and devising solutions to address them effectively.

Upon the completion of this internship, the intern is required to present their accomplishments and project summary to the leadership team.

**Education**:

- Fresh graduates or last year students, specializing in industrial management, engineering field
- Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelors, master's or PhD program who is fulfilling a graduation requirement for their degree.
- First Solar encourages all interns to register with their university.
