Lead Engineer

**Location: Long Bien**

**Position Context**
- In charge of BiWDC Component Design, Validation, Cost, Quality, Timing for eBus for Vietnam and International markets.
- Set up the mode of supervising the plan for every part together with all stakeholders, including ESP ( Engineering Service Provider ), monitoring the progress, results and failures according to the plans.
- Ensure high confidence level to product lifetime and lead of project testing plan on time, according to the specification and with minimum resource.

**Position**
- Facilitate the technical mentoring of the BiWDC parts and complete module team and the others technical area of expertise.
- Direct reporting to BiWDC Module Director.

**Responsibilities/ Daily tasks you will take care**:

- Responsible for delivering the design, validation, homologation, cost, quality, warranty and attribute performance for eBus.
- Conduct the root cause diagnosis on design related issues. Provides technical directions to Engineer during vehicle development.
- Deliver technical leadership and analysis on projects of high corporate priority and tight timing constraints.
- Collaborate closely with other disciplines to develop optimum structure performance.
- Issues tracking evaluate the influences and define root causes.
- Collaboration for further resolutions on detected issues.
- Manage lessons learned for each test with relevant matters.
- Create the needed report with high quality (weekly report, Cross Functional Meeting report etc.)

**Requirements/ Desired skills and experience**:
**Education/ Professional knowledge**:

- Bachelor or above degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics engineering.
- English language: Fluent.
- Quality tools like Six Sigma DMAIC, DFMEA, DFA, GD&T etc.

**Skill, Experience**:

- Experience of 5 years in automotive Body in White and Door Closures including Sheet metal panels design, mature markets homologation requirements, closures mechanisms, door trim panels development, metal and resins material specification, welding processes, tooling development timing, manufacturing jigs and fixtures.
- Exposure to eBus requirements and testing.
- The ability to learn quickly, accept challenges and be able to adapt to the company’s rapid development rhythm and culture.
- High level of coordination, communication and team leading skills.
- High analytical and conceptual skills
- High level of management skills.
- Experience/ knowledge on Team Center, CATIA, CAE analyses for Durability, Safety, NVH

**Other Requirements**:

- Good communication skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt to new situations and constraints.
- Experience in the automotive environment is an advantage.
