Piriou Vietnam, formerly South East Asia Shipyard was established in Vietnam at the end of 2006. Born half a century ago in Concarneau( Brittany-France), one of the largest fishing harbours in France, Piriou is a French leader in shipbuilding and ship repair for medium size vessels.

Piriou Vietnam build medium size, aluminum and steel vessels of up to 120 meters in length. The shipyard is specialized in offshore crew transfer vessels, offshore gas supply vessels, tugs, purse seiners, services boats and since recently, saling cargos.

WIth design offices in France and Vietnam, Piriou can design and build all types of work boats and fisching vessels upon customer requirements.

Since 2007, more than 110 aluminum vessels and nearly 60 steel vessels including deep freezer tuna purse seiners, expedition and yatch support vessels, long liners, tug boat, barges, fast rescue boats (FRB), Offshore industrial crew boats, passenger & sailing vessels and wind-farm support vessels (WFSV) have sailed away so far and going from Ben Luc/Nha Be facilities.

Reporting line to the Operations Manager Piriou Vietnam:
Our QCCT Manager will have the mission detailled below:
- In charge of QC and Trials teams operations within Piriou Vietnam yards or on subcontractor sites.- Ensures that all QCCT activities are implemented with the highest regards to health and safety, to the protection of the environment, and of the vessels and equipment under the care of QCCT department.- Develops and maintains the operational capabilities of his QCCT department. Permanently monitors adequacy of company’s QCCT capacities with company’s work load and anticipates on requirement for variations in such capacities. Proposes plans accordingly.- Plans, organizes and supervises QC, Commissioning and Trial activities in line with Yard and projects planning and in compliance with regulatory constraints and contractual commitments.- Coordinate with other department as may be required. Demonstrate pragmatism and proximity with the production teams;- Support the production Department by providing technical support in order to ensure compliance with shipbuilding quality standards and specific project requirements.- Ensures that commitments with regards to quality of construction and delivery dates are well achieved.- Organize and perform commissioning of equipment and systems with or without the presence of relevant suppliers depending on their complexity;- Ensures systems are fixed if and when required before the starting of commissioning process.- Organize and ensure the performance of sea trials with a particular attention to safety.- Monitors the treatment of issues and reserves as may be required after commissioning and testing, ensuring an efficient and thorough resolution.- Validates the reliability of the installations before the ship's departure to avoid any damage resulting from nominal operation of the ship.

Support vessel delivery process, take part in final inspections before delivery to ensure delivery in good technical condition of the vessel to the Client.

Main activities are as follow:
**HSE**:

- Is responsible for the good implementation of HSE policies and of all related safe working practices within the operations under the position’s control, ensuring the company’s targets are achieved during the performance of any QC operation, STW and commissioning operation HAT and SAT, wherever they have to be performed.

**PLANNING**:

- Develops general and specific planning for all activities under Position’s control, in line with Yard planning and project milestones. Monitors proper coordination of teams for its successful implementation, adapts when required.
- Maintain trial planning and ensure its communication to all parties involved.
- Anticipates on availability of required resources, equipment, tools, space, infrastructures and workforce. Monitors their proper and efficient use.
- Alerts related departments sufficiently in advance when shortage of resource is anticipated for corrective actions to be timely implemented.
- Develops and formalizes Projects ITP covering QC formal activities as well as Commissioning, Test & Trial programs.
- Ensures the proper implementation of test programs (PPE) as proposed by Design office.
- Validates the content of specific test programs reports, both in substance and form.

**QUALITY**:

- Communicates on applicable standards of quality for all activities under position’s control, ensures such standards are well understood and applied at all levels.
- Supervises QCCT activities with a specific attention to quality, ensuring company’s commitments on quality are systematically met.
- Promotes the use of adequate working methods ensuring efficient input with satisfactory results, with a permanent aim to avoid failures and repeats.
