**1. JOB PURPOSE**

To deliver exceptional customer service at all times following Circle K’s Commitment - 4 Fs and adhering to our Policies and Procedures to achieve sales & profit objectives,
To manage, direct and coach Staff in the daily operations, sales and customer service to ensure full customer satisfaction and maintain positive company image and represent Circle K chain store in a professional manner.

**2. JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES**

Your main responsibility as a SM is to ensure that you and your team are delivering the highest level of customer service, in a clean and safe environment. In addition to adhering to Circle K’s Policies and Procedures, you are responsible for:
People
- Ensuring you and your staff follow people essentials (eg. uniforms, grooming, punctuality, ) and Circle K’s practices as set out in the Employee Handbook
- Understanding and well delivering Caring-Sharing-Learning culture of Circle K Vietnam to all of your store staff and also promoting teamwork to achieve store goals.
- Managing/ guiding subordinates in detail when needed while demonstrating consideration for proper procedures.
- Following all reasonable instruction given by an authorized person (eg. Trainers, Area Managers).
- Acting as a key brand ambassador for Circle K at all times and also as a key model for store staff.
- Leading team members to be professional and qualified CSRs.
- Following up job assignment by conducting random checking and CCTV checking.
- Setting plan for building up your staff, especially for SL 2, SL 1 and key CSRs. Following up under supervision of Area Managers

Sales Building
- Ensuring your staff following critical standards for general merchandise and food service items with high service speed, cleanliness and sanitation.
- All general merchandise should be displayed under guidelines with full name tag, price tag, not-expired and fresh and with eye catching look
- Following strictly SOP of every single food item. Regularly check expiry dates of all items and report immediately if any.
- Serving customers by establishing critical service factors; maintaining quality and service and operations; anticipating trends; developing and implementing systems and resources; assessing results.
- Adhering to store performance standards under guideline from Area Manager.
- Ensuring workplace (including cashier counter, Food Service counter, sales floor, sitting area, backroom, toilet, front yard) clean and tidy all the time
- Following directions for the implementation of new products and procedures.
- Developing and implementing promotional campaigns by coordinating with merchandising department and external vendors; monitoring presentation and execution.
- Ensuring 100% implementations of all promotion programs, guidelines, POG updating, price changing, new items listed at store within deadline
- Continuous coaching staff on maintaining operational & Food service procedure to exceed customer cleanliness, comfort & convenience expectations. Adjusting ordering amount of food material, controlling BM amount and maintaining high GP% is the key.
- Responsible for all cash handling. Any shortage of cash must be under your responsibility.
- Following and ensuring full stock of top 200 SKUs
- Observing and reporting any typical customer behavior at store to Area Managers, also, paying attention to events around stores which may bring more sales chances.
- Making suggestion on layout, equipment needed for better sales chances
- Visiting competitors and sending feedback to Area Manager weekly for updating competitors’ activities, also, finding room to learn from them in terms of display, cleanliness, staff arrangement for better control
- Reducing operating costs by monitoring annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; determining profitable service.

Food Safety/Sanitation/Equipment
- Following all food safety, sanitation and hygiene requirements and practices.
- Ensuring all machines are well-operated and report immediately if there is any under
- expected quality
- Sending requests immediately to other supporting departments (Site/ IT) for any equipment which need replacing/repairing
- Other tasks assigned by Area Managers

Customer Engagement
- Welcoming every customer with a smile and being genuinely friendly at all times.
- Attending to customers’ needs as a primary focus.
- Referring difficult customer enquiries to a relevant Manager.
- Ensuring all team members deliver best service to customers.

Stock arrangement/ control
- Ensure on shelf/ in backroom follow Operations guidelines.
- Maintains healthy stock at store by conducting inspections to ensure moderate inventory levels, good merchandising condition; acceptable inventory variance from stock take and day-by-day random following-up
- Keeping an eye on stock and doing physical counts on high value items, to minimize shoplifting chances at stores
