**Assistant Spa Manager - Amanoi**
**Role**
The Assistant Spa Manager supports the Spa Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring service standards are consistently upheld by supervisors and senior therapists. They lead team development, enhance guest experience, and contribute to financial performance through strategic planning and productivity management. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to excellence in both service and team growth. The Assistant Spa Manager will report directly to the Spa Manager.
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and guide daily spa operations, ensuring all departments function efficiently and in alignment with established standards.
- Facilitate ongoing training and clear communication to ensure senior therapists and team leaders uphold service excellence and operational consistency.
- Implement and maintain clear, standardized procedures for spa operations and treatments, ensuring consistency, safety, and professionalism in every service delivered.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training of spa team members. Empower supervisors and senior therapists to lead by example, communicate standards effectively, and nurturing team cohesion.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Engineering to maintain pristine spa environments and ensure all wellness equipment (e.g., yoga pavilion, gym, Pilates studio, treatment rooms) is safe, clean, and fully functional.
- Monitor and manage spa inventory, including retail and professional products, ensuring accurate tracking, timely replenishment, and proper distribution to support daily operations
- Recommend personalized treatments and wellness programs tailored to individual guest needs and skill levels, enhancing satisfaction and encouraging repeat visits.
- Monitor service delivery, address guest concerns promptly, and implement corrective actions where needed. Ensure all treatments meet Aman Spa’s quality benchmarks.
- Assist in evaluating employee performance, support professional growth, and work closely with the Spa Manager to refine policies, improve efficiency, and uphold brand integrity.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years in high-end spa or resort wellness operations, with proven expertise in delivering elevated guest experience and managing premium service environments.
- Deep expertise in therapeutic massage, anatomy, and wellness protocols, with a practical, hands-on approach to designing effective wellness programs.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate guest needs, programming shifts, and seasonal demands.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Innovative and guest-centric mindset in designing personalized wellness programs and holistic wellness experiences.
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality in every guest interaction and training session.
