**Job Functions**:
The primary responsibility of this job is manage assigned operation tasks of own shift in Water/Wastewater/ Recycling system:

- Responsible for the working time management and task assigment of all member in own shifts.
- Responsible for operation/ maintainance task, team member’s activity and actions happened during their shift.
- Provide clear direction to shift team member for operation/maintainance/troubleshoot activities.

The second responsibility of this job is first level to respond for RCY/WWT/UPW system incidents:

- First layer to perform and give instruction to shift team member for incident respond and corrective action
- Collect information and cascade to supervisor to perform corrective and preventive action (MAXIMO)

Resposible for shiftly task: Shift report, incident report, R&R data, tracking, tool management, consumable management, 5S, and prepare operation procedure base on direct from supervisor.

**Experience**:

- Above 2 years of operational experience in managing frontline operators in water-wastewater treatment plant/ Industrial chemical process plant/ Industrial waste treatment plant/High-tech manufacturing plant.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in preferably Chemistry/Chemical/Environmental/Mechanical/ Electrical

**Required Skills**:

- Good at leadership & communication skills, both written and verbal in English & Vietnamese languages
- Good at conflict resolution & team building skills
- Demonstrate proficiency with wet chemical processes.
- Wastewater treatment capabilities in manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of chemical compatibilities & familiarity with wet chemical analyses
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude & proficiency with material transfer equipment (conveyors, pumps, etc.)
- Familiarity with heavy mechanical equipment (Crushers/shredders, Separation equipment, etc.)
- Strong chemical process control aptitude with troubleshooting skills
- Able to read and interpret basic mechanical equipment drwaings, P&IDs, and electrical drawings.
- Profiecient user of MS Office suite software (MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point & MS Project).

**Essential Functions & Responsibilities**
- Responsible to ensure that all crew members operate plant equipment & process properly to achieve required product quality & waste stream effluent discharge standards in their shift.
- Responsible for safety & environmental compliance of all direct reports and other associates/ contractors/vendors working in his/her operational shift.
- Responsible for ensuring that all crew members are comply with EHS policies & procedures (LOTO, confined space, waste container labeling etc.) at all times.
- Responsible for holding all associates accountable for strict adherence to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
- Responsible for the overall operation of the process water/wastewater treatment and module recycling systems during his/her shifts.
- Give instruction for the troubleshooting and servicing of all plant equipment and is responsible for complying with the preventative maintenance program.
- Interfaces with internal & external personnel to ensure that all necessary consumable items (chemicals, spare parts & othe materials) are available in a timely manner to support plant operations.Identifies and recommends opportunities for cost savings and continuous improvement projects.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to 12 hours per day
- Will climb stairs on an occasional basis
- Will exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, push or pull on a seldom basis
- Will lift, push or pull up to 27 pounds on a frequent basis
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects repetitively on a frequent basis
- 20/40 vision in each eye, with or without correction, is required
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
- May reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis
- May stoop, kneel, or bend, on an occasional basis
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment is required (including but not limited to; steel toed shoes, gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective jacket or apron and arm guards)
- All associates working on the production floor may be required to wear a respirator at any given time and thus, the ability to wear a respirator is a condition of employment and continued employment (requires little or no facial hair)
