**About the Role**

As **Head of Language Support**, you will provide **strategic leadership and expert guidance** to ensure the success of EAL students. Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and mentoring a team of EAL specialists, teaching assistants, and classroom teachers.
- Designing and implementing effective EAL intervention programs.
- Coordinating with year leaders and the Primary Leadership Team to support curriculum development.
- Monitoring student progress, facilitating transitions, and providing targeted support where needed.
- Driving best practices in language acquisition and inclusive learning.

**About You**

We are looking for a dedicated educator who:

- Holds a **BEd or PGCE + QTS**, with a **specialism or experience in EAL teaching**.
- Has a **proven track record in language support leadership**, ideally in a bilingual or international school setting.
- Demonstrates **strong leadership and mentoring skills**, with experience in **staff training and appraisals**.
- Is skilled in **curriculum development** and designing **language intervention programs**.
- Is passionate about fostering an **inclusive and high-achieving learning environment**.
