**Meet the team**

Acting as a key contributor to the company’s Global Technology Legal Compliance group, participation in SAP’s 3rd party intellectual property management initiatives is a significant part of the role. Critically, this involves monitoring and controlling open source intake across SAP by executing code audits using our source code scanning technologies: the review and assessment of the code scanner output represents a central area of responsibility.

**What you will do**:

- Evaluation of software packages using SAP’s software scanning / auditing tools.
- Review of open source license information & other license relevant documentation/files based on scan results (or other research).
- Performing code audits for various types of compliance relevant artifacts: license text, terms of use pages, cryptography, etc.

**What you should bring**
- B.S. (degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent)
- 3+ years of software development/security engineer experience
- Technical competence with at least one object oriented programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, Java or C++
- Ability to read/review different source code languages and other software objects to make decisions based on understanding the implemented functionality.
- Adept at complex problem solving and extensive research skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with diverse/cross-functional teams
