Gear Inc. is actively searching for a proficient Security Engineer to fortify and enhance the security posture of our back office operations. As we continually push the boundaries in the gaming industry, our back office remains a critical foundation, ensuring smooth and secure administrative functions. In this role, you'll be the gatekeeper, responsible for safeguarding our sensitive data, proprietary software, and other critical assets. Your expertise will not only help protect our current operations but also shape our security strategy for the future

**Working Location**: 125D, Minh Khai Street, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi
- Design, implement, and maintain secure systems and networks, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security devices.
- Develop and implement security measures, policies, and procedures to protect the systems and networks against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security incidents.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and events, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry best practices, and organizational security policies.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other teams to ensure that security controls are effectively implemented and maintained.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving security posture.
- Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees and users about security best practices and procedures.

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in system security engineering, network security, or a related field.
- Have knowledge of security principles, best practices, and industry standards, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, antivirus, and vulnerability scanning tools.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing/switching.
- Basic programming proficiency, sufficient to write and execute scripts from the command line.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical people.
- Relevant professional certifications is a plus.

**Nice To Have**:

- Experience implementing ISO 27001.
- Good knowledge of Linux and Bash shell.
- Experience or knowledge about Microsoft solutions.
- Experience or knowledge about Mac devices.
- Scripting and automation abilities.
- Programming experience such as Java,.Net, or Python.
