The purpose of this role is to monitor regulatory changes, communicate updates to key stakeholders, and implement recommendations to mitigate risks. Additionally, the role involves conducting regulatory research to support business operations and legal activities. The role also contributes to managing and resolving regulatory matters such as market conduct examinations, audits, investigations, and complaints.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor new legislative and regulatory activity for designated areas of responsibility.
- Develop effective partnerships with stakeholders across the organisation.
- Assist with coordination of market conduct exams.
- Attend meetings with state examiner and review business unit responses to exam results.
- Support internal and external audits within the area of responsibility.
- Research regulatory-related matters.
- Work with business stakeholders to respond to customer complaints received from DOIs.
- analyse triggers for Holding Company or Managing General Agent (MGA) Act filings.
- Produce and submit Holding Company or MGA Act filings in a timely fashion.

Work Experience:
Necessary Work Experience includes:

- Some relevant work experience.

Preferred Work Experience includes:

- Experience working with legal and regulatory resources such as Westlaw and Lexis Nexis.
- Experience working with APCIA, NILS legal or other relevant regulatory resources.

Qualifications:
Necessary Qualifications include:

- Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
