Operation Program Manager, Global Operations

The position is for a talented and highly motivated Sr. Operations Program Manager of supporting Amazon business located in Vietnam. This program manager will own, manage and deliver factory (Contract Manufacturer) readiness for Products in on the Company’s Roadmap and ensures manufacturing meets volume, quality, cost targets. This includes sustain the production supply to meet the forecast, and owning of Engineering change request execution in contract manufacturer, regular operation monitoring and management to drive to Operation/Manufacturing excellence and sustainable improvement.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- In depth knowledge related to manage build readiness, sustaining operation and mass production, working with Contract Manufacturers in terms of Delivery, Cost and Performance.
- In depth knowledge of FATP and SMT process in CE industry. Capable of managing build readiness and execution during Product Development Process.
- Assist in establishing and controlling conditions of execution of operating strategies and plans, with strong capability of consolidate into White Paper.
- Provide project schedule planning, and ensure the activities in compliance with company goals and objectives.
- Manage factory capacity to ensure we have enough to support future demand.
- Use techniques to verify the effectiveness of solutions
- Be able to work cross-functional with other organizations building strong relationships within the Amazon.
- Ensure compliance to corporate social standards.
- Knowledgeable in lean methodology and demonstrated ability in goal setting.
- Responsible for Capex management and drive for cost reduction.
As in-region Operations at contract manufacturer sites, we manage contract manufacturer routine operations and executions to ensure On Time Delivery to Commit (OTD-C) by going through PVT launch success, output ramping up, mass production sustain until end of manufacturing (EOM). We always strive to deliver highest quality products in optimal and economical operation solution, and drive to accelerate CM intelligent factory development.
Key job responsibilities
OPM owns program managing all aspects of operations impacting the product development quality, cost, schedule and delivery from concept through EOL (end of life). Program Managers lead projects for cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of a new feature, service, product, or system. They participate in concept design, gather business requirements, document functional and design specifications, identify appropriate resources needed, assemble the right project team, assign individual responsibilities, and develop the milestones and launch schedule to ensure timely and successful delivery of the project. Program Managers contribute cross-functional business and technical skills, assess and manage risks, measure and report on progress, anticipate and resolve bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs with the technical constraints. They rely heavily on influence over authority to drive project deliverables. Operations Program Managers work frequently with suppliers and managing them as required to meet Amazon requirements for delivery performance.
