Job Summary

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our founding team. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll play a crucial role in defining our technical vision, building production-grade software, and scaling our platform to millions of users.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in roadmapping and architecture discussions to shape our technical direction.
  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, production-ready code that meets our scalability and performance requirements.
  • Lead large projects from initial inception to production, ensuring timely delivery and seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, executives, designers, product managers, and business operators, to unblock and support their work.
Requirements
  • A computer science or technical degree and 3-4 years of industry experience, or 5-6 years in full-time backend engineering roles.
  • At least one year of experience working within a web framework (Django, Rails, Spring, etc.).
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL databases (Postgres preferred).
  • Experience with projects involving integrations, webhooks, and/or APIs.

  • Adapt: Evolve with the needs of the business, which (as with any startup) are evolving constantly.
