- Responsible for to formulate, execute, develop and implement strategic procurement of category plans/sourcing strategy aligned with organization goals and objectives to deliver cost saving target.
- Develop external spend business requirements with stakeholders & recommend market engagement strategy, and risk mitigation strategy.
- Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities and evaluate their suitability for organization’s needs.
- Identify opportunities for cost saving, process improvements and risk mitigation within the procurement function.
- Prepare market engagement documentation eg. RFP, RFQ, Tender, etc
- To participate in the development of specifications for equipment, products or substitute materials.
- Lead the procurement process from sourcing to contract negotiation and supplier management
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to achieve favorable terms, pricing and service levels.
- Monitor contract performance and supplier performance and conduct regular supplier reviews to ensure compliance with contractual agreements and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationship with key suppliers and vendors to facilitate effective communication and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement requirements and provide guidance on procurement best practices.
- Engage with cross functional discussions to evaluate potential vendors, considering factors such as price, quality, reliability and service level agreements.
- Assist in facilitating cross functional team to deliver execute and implement procurement initiatives not only in local country but outside country also
- Ensuring compliance to Procurement SOP, managing local demand and providing guidance on Procurement processes and buying channels
- Continuously looking for efficiency in the areas of procurement process
- University degree or above, preferably in Finance or Purchasing/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- 5+ years of professional experience in procurement or similar role.
- Proven experience in strategic procurement, vendor management and contract negotiation, preferably in a senior leadership role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends and make data
- driven decision.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and the ability to drive favorable outcomes in supplier negotiations.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, industry standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools, such as ERP systems, e-procurement platforms and supplier management software.
- Proven strong communication skills ensuring clear, direct and appropriate communication at multiple organizational levels.
- Good Negotiation skills and Contract management
- Knowledge of Supply market, Legal and Government
- Problem Solving and Decision Making
- Careful, honest, teamwork and cooperation
- Good at English, excellent Communication Skills both oral and written
- Analytical & maintain can do attitude
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Applications (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Certification in procurement and supply chain management is a plus
