Freelance Research Assistants

Vero is part of the Clean Creatives Pledge, and we are looking for freelance research assistants to help us understand the Asian region. For that, we need to gain insights into the advertising and PR industry and agencies' roles in promoting fossil fuel companies across different markets.

**Qualifications**:
We are seeking bi-lingual or multi-lingual researchers who are proficient in using communications industry agency websites, award shows, professional social networks, and other platforms to identify agencies that work with fossil fuel companies and/or fossil fuel industry bodies across the ASEAN region.

We are seeking to hire at least one researcher able to work in each of the following languages and markets:

- Mandarin Chinese (PRC)
- Mandarin Chinese (Singapore)
- Vietnamese (Vietnam)
- Japanese (Japan)
- Burmese (Myanmar)
- Korean (South Korea)

**Deliverables for each market will be**:

- A spreadsheet **in English** listing agencies involved in fossil fuel advertising and PR in each market, their associated clients, and archived or offline evidence of the specific projects they are involved in.
- Examples of creatives and strategies from at least two and up to five significant fossil fuel campaigns in each market were found during research.
- Weekly progress check-ins with the project manager (or as needed)
