**Job Summary**:
As a Senior Unity XR Engineer at Bootloader, you’ll play a key role in crafting immersive XR experiences that set new standards. You’ll work closely with our Lead Engineer and a dynamic team to tackle tough XR challenges, optimize performance, and integrate advanced features that elevate user interaction. We need someone with deep Unity XR expertise who can turn intricate technical details into a clear product vision. If you’re ready to make a real impact in XR, let’s talk.

**What you will do**:

- Collaborate with the Lead Engineer and the XR team to build and refine our Unity app for visionOS, AndroidXR, and Meta Horizon OS.
- Integrate immersive XR elements across platforms by working closely with design, animation, and AI teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges unique to XR.
- Stay updated on XR trends and emerging Unity tools to keep our product ahead of the curve.
- Develop XR-specific components like 3D Character Controllers and Animator Controllers using C#/Unity and platform tools for visionOS, AndroidXR, and Meta Horizon OS.
- Optimize the app for performance and scalability across multiple devices.
- Create interactive features for 3D characters in shared and immersive XR environments.
- Build C# plugins and bridges that connect Unity with other XR libraries.

**Your skills and experience**:

- Extensive experience with Unity for game development.
- A proven record of turning abstract ideas into engaging XR experiences that align with a broader product vision.
- Expertise in optimizing XR performance and solving spatial computing challenges.
- Advanced skills with Unity’s XR toolkits, animation systems, and rendering pipelines.
- High proficiency in C#, with a history of writing clean, reliable, and efficient code for XR.
- Experience integrating AI systems and interactive features in XR contexts.
- The ability to see the whole picture—connecting detailed challenges with overall product goals.
