**The opportunity**
- The Specialist, PR & Corporate Communications will assist in building Manulife Vietnam’s profile in the media and grow its share of voice, while also protecting the brand and reputation for the business.
- Develop and implement public relations and corporate communications plans that complement the company's business roadmap and goals.
- Responsible for pitching and writing press releases, thought leadership content, PR articles, speeches, video scripts, social content, and other content as required.
- Ensure organizational initiatives, projects and regulatory requirements are successfully communicated to public, employees and stakeholders.
- Monitor and measure the success of all activities, evaluating results against KPIs and reporting back on performance.
- Produce internal and external communication materials in both English and Vietnamese, with a focus on creative writing and storytelling.
- Foster strong and lasting relationships across relevant media, maintaining ongoing dialogue that leads to opportunities for our business and leadership.
- S upport on issues management and crisis communications, including monitoring, reporting and resolution.
- Assist in r esponding to the requirements of media in a timely and responsive manner.
- Organise and collaborate on events such as media functions, press conferences, roundtables and any other activities relevant to the role
- Liaise with Global and Regional office on corporate communications matters as appropriate.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the right department, teams and individuals are engaged, consulted and informed to maintain alignment and collaboration.
- Embrace a cost-conscious approach to PR and deliver effective budgeting, forecasting and financial management.
- Work with the in-house design team to create a cohesive look and feel across PR content, while incorporating the Manulife brand guidelines.
- Follow approved internal processes and procedures while ensuring invoices, expenses and bills for payment are made in a timely fashion.
