**Job description**:
**1. Primary Objectives**

**2. Main responsibilities**
- Develop and execute test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures (manual and automated).
- Diagnose defects and track them from discovery to resolution.
- Partner with engineering teams to stay informed of new technologies being introduced and to ensure that system components are designed for testability.
- Respond to all requests from team members in a timely professional manner.

**Your skills and experience**:
**1. Qualification**
- Bachelor‘s Degree in Computer Science/IT
- Test Certification is desired but not mandatory

**2. Knowledge & Experience**
- 5+ years‘ experience in the software quality field including prior hands-on quality engineering experience
- A deep understanding of Software Quality Control (SQC) and Software Development Process, familiarity with the entire software development life cycle and test cycles (Unit, Regression, Functional, Systems, Stress & Scale, Smoke & Sanity)
- Good background of Java programming languages
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing test cases, scripts, plans, and procedures to support various development methodologies, and experience in Automation testing
- Understanding of existing QC best practices and methodologies to design, implement, and automate processes
- Experience coordinating with external QC resources
- Prior success using a metrics-driven approach and closed-loop feedback to improve software deliverables and improve the predictability and reliability of releases
- Experience in banking, finance, or securities sectors is a big plus

**3. Soft skills**
- Good documentation skills
- Detailed and effective written communication skills for documenting the features tested and bugs found
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, extremely responsive, and able to prioritize a large number of tasks
- Self-motivated, works well independently and with others
- Able to perform effectively & independently and mentor others in software testing
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver within our high-demand environment
- Required to be a highly motivated team player, focused on customer satisfaction, and solution/results-driven.
- Good command of written English is a big plus.
