Coin98 is looking for a Senior Data Engineer who will be responsible for database architecture, data flow and data processes. This includes efficiently receiving, transferring, processing, analyzing, and integrating 3rd party systems for investment research and business operational processes. Strong programming skills, particularly in Python and SQL are therefore essential. Solid experience managing and analysing large amounts of data is a must. Experience with version control and database solutions is necessary as well.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Create the best practices and strategies for data foundation and promote new technologies
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines and ETL solutions to support business and provide real time analytics for critical decision making
- Lead discussions with other partners to understand the data requirements and create reusable data assets to support business use cases.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- 4+ years experience and proven work experience as a Senior Data Engineer or similar role
- Graduated from faculty of Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical fields
- Proficient in Java, Scala, or Python
- Experienced with distributed storage, distributed system, multi-threading
- Familiar with SQL, NoSQL, git, CI/CD tools, etc
- Experienced with data integration patterns : batch integration, event streaming, API
- Familiar with AWS data stack and patterns (Kafka, Glue, EMR, etc.), Spark (SQL, DataFrame, etc.), distributed data query engines
