**Role Responsibilities and Tasks**:

- Origination and Execution of M&A deals in Vietnam and in region.
- Participation and assistance in marketing efforts, including preparation of client presentations and pitches
- Cross border M&A deal execution, including the day-to-day communication with relevant clients & counterparties, organizing meetings with internal/external professional teams and lead the discussions, preparation of 3 statement models etc.
- Deal documentation and internal approvals
- Collaborating with colleagues locally / overseas to leverage the firm's existing relationships & develop a strategy to increase promotion / revenue from such client base
- Preparation of M&A market data analysis, presentation of Southeast Asia M&A strategy to global teams, etc.
- Training of juniors in team.

**People Managemen **t:

- May or may not managing a direct team and liaison with all support groups
- Supports the development of an environment where people management and development is the number one priority. Coaches direct reports and/or others in the organisation, as appropriate
- Acts as a role model for new employees, providing help and support to facilitate early integration and assimilation of their new environment
- Supports tough people decisions to ensure people performance is aligned with organisation imperatives and needs. Address individual performance issues, where necessary, to drive for high performance.

**Experience/ Exposure***:

- At least 8 years prior experience in origination and execution of investment banking deals with a focus on M&A.
- Prior experience in creating and analyzing financial models.
- Prior experience in creating marketing materials like pitch books, presentations.
- Awareness of M&A market trends
- Highly motivated and self-driven with ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills and able to articulate to demanding clients
- Experience handling various databases such us Bloomberg, Reuters etc
- Experience in providing guidance to junior members in the team

**Education/ Qualifications***:

- Bachelor or master degree in Finance, Banking or Economics
- Fluent / native business and overall proficiency in Vietnamese
- Understanding of Vietnamese client landscape including local corporates and foreign investors, including key global sponsor clients.
- Mid to upper level relationships with the above.
