Senior Associate, Data Insight

Department Operations- LevelExperienced (Individual Contributor)- LocationVietnam - Ho Chi Minh CityThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
- Take complicated problems, collect data, build frameworks / simulations and set up improvement processes after data analysis;
- Enhance business efficiency and quality via data insights and new features evaluations
- Identify trends, key bottlenecks / risks for quick reaction and opportunities for growth and business strategy through analysis of complex datasets
- Produce reports and charts communicating trends and insights within data to non-specialists
- Set up processes and systems to make working with data more efficient
- Manage both internal and external stakeholders to convince them on your ideas for improvement

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of industry experience with proven business impact, having experience in operations excellence, supply chain analysis or logistics operations is a huge plus
- Functional data analysis skills and ability to quickly extract insights
- Excellent in communication with different stakeholders, have experience in project management or operations is a plus
- Have ownership of the project, always being active in working with relevant stakeholders. Hands-on mentality, eager to take initiative on new opportunities and deliver targets.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving attitude, and continuous improvement mindset.
- Advanced Excel skills, PowerPoint/Slide Presentation. SQL is a plus
