**What are we looking for?**
We're in search of a meticulous and experienced professional to join our team as a Design Coordinator. This role requires expertise in creating precise and cost-effective designs that meet project and client needs within specified timelines.

**What are you expected to do?**
- Project Management: Assist in task delegation, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure timely project delivery while complying with relevant standards and legislation
- Design Expertise: Prepare and modify designs using appropriate software, provide technical input, review work for accuracy, and ensure designs are checked and approved before forwarding to relevant authorities
- Marketing and Business Development: Contribute to fee proposals, attend networking events, and foster relationships with existing and potential clients
- Governance & Quality Assurance: Maintain documentation standards, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements
- Health, Safety & Environment: Adhere to safety protocols, report hazards, and actively contribute to a safe workplace
- Innovation: Encourage an environment of idea-sharing, suggest improvements, and support innovative implementations across the business

**You'll be a great fit if**:

- You have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a similar role
- You have experience in using 12D to create detailed engineering designs for infrastructure projects. At a minimum, you have the ability to design for geometry and stormwater
- You have experience working on projects involving roads and land subdivision mix, urban infill development.
- You have experience handling Australian clients or projects
- You possess strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and relevant legislation
- You can work independently on projects of significant scale and complexity
- You have experience in preparing fee proposals, tender documents, and submissions
- You demonstrate advanced proficiency in relevant design software
- Your communication skills—both written and verbal—are excellent
- Your interpersonal skills are strong, allowing you to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or similar disciplines
