Job description
**ABOUT THE JOB**:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Helpdesk that will be responsible for providing technical support, resolving user issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations across the organization. This role focuses on delivering high-quality helpdesk and user support while maintaining IT systems and infrastructure.
Respond promptly to user inquiries, troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of laptops, desktops, printers, and other peripherals.
Log, track, and manage incidents and requests using the ticketing system.
Escalate unresolved issues to relevant teams and ensure follow-up until resolution.
Perform onboarding and offboarding IT tasks, including account creation, hardware setup, and access management.
Monitor and maintain office IT systems, including LAN/WAN networks and servers.\
Perform routine maintenance, software updates, and backups to ensure system reliability.
Support the deployment of new hardware and software solutions.
**ABOUT YOU**:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
Proven experience in an IT helpdesk or user support role.
Basic knowledge of networking concepts, including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, and IP configurations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT documentation practices.
