We are looking forward to hiring Junior Engineers who will work on engineering and consultancy assignments across all our disciplines for offshore wind farm projects. This role will help position OWC as the global renewables advisor of choice and will share collective responsibility for meeting our ambitious business growth objective, to double our renewables activity by 2025.

**What you will be doing**:
The Junior Engineer will support OWC in the delivery of renewable energy project development and related engineering works in Vietnam and internationally. You will report directly to OWC Vietnam Country Manager and closely liaise with the project managers for different projects as well as other experts within OWC and ABL Group.

Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Provision of technical support as a Wind Resource Analyst to perform wind and site statistical modelling, wind resource analysis and site characteristics for the Wind Farms through the project lifecycle from early opportunities to Development stage until financial close.
- Support in the design and optimization of turbine layouts and the technical and economical optimization of projects.
- Support the technical due diligence of Wind Farm related to the wind resource assessment, calculation of Energy Yield, review of the Turbine Layout and layout improvement recommendation.
- Provision of wind measurement campaigns in various types of measurement such as the installation of Met mast or Lidar and analysis of the measured results.
- Continuous improvement of existing in-house standards, industry best practices and in-house software tools used for various tasks.
- Attend business development activities (such as conferences, meetings, etc..) together with a senior manager.

**What we are looking for**:
Additionally, the following qualifications and skills are required:

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical), Atmospheric, Physics, Aerospace or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
- Engineering mathematics skills (statistics and numerical methods, differential equations, linear algebra, and calculus).
- Excellent spatial visualization abilities.
- The ability to develop technical reports, carry out detailed calculations and other project-related tasks.
- The ability to interpret and generate technical drawings, and specifications.
- Capable of serving in various roles e.g. design, analysis, consulting, project management and coordination.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written) is required. Multilinguistic is a plus.
- Outstanding written, graphical, and verbal communication skills for presentation to both technical and non-technical audiences.

The following experience is considered desirable: (Optional)
- Experience in onshore and offshore, wind resource assessment.
- Demonstrated competence in one or more of the following: Feasibility Study, Detailed engineering design, Conceptual engineering design.
- Specific knowledge and experience with software like WAsP, windPRO.
- Knowledge of, and interest in, the renewable energy sector, marine, offshore, and energy industries, including conventional oil & gas and renewables.
