We’re recruiting a Manager Accounting, Tax & Treasury based in Ho Chi Minh City.

Your day-to-day:

- Manage Accounting, Tax and Treasury transactions are recorded and reported in compliance with relevant P&P, Accounting Standards (US GAAP, VAS) and Regulatory requirements in complete, accurate, and timely manner. Ensure that all month, quarter and annual Financial reports are prepared in accurate and timely manner. Ensure all tax audit and other statutory audit are well prepared and handled in accordance to PMI requirement.
- Ensure that key controls for Accounting, Tax and Treasury are in place and effectively implemented in every single process to secure compliance with US GAAP and Vietnam Accounting Standard, Direct and Indirect tax Laws and Regulations, PMI Tax Standards, relevant Principles and Practices. Review Accounting, Tax and Treasury risks on a regular basis, including but not limited to testing of key controls, and address immediately any issue and or violation identified.
- Ensure that all local tax (tax returns, declarations, documentation or other filings) and PMI tax compliances is prepared, reviewed and filed on a timely basis in order to avoid penalties and interest for errors, under-declarations or delayed compliance. Ensure that adequate and appropriate records are maintained for tax record-keeping purposes and periodically reviewed.
- Review and challenge accounting, tax and treasury processes to identify areas for improvement, both from a quality, internal control and efficiency point of view, and recommend changes whenever deemed appropriate. Be a contact point to handle financial information/queries from internal/external auditor and tax authority.
- Ensure that all PMI Policies and Procedures, internal procedures and SOX key controls set out related to the position are applied, certify proper maintenance of company records in electronic formats/ hard copies in accordance with Records Management.
- Manage the Accounting, Tax and Treasury Department, including leading and developing accountants, supervisors and analysts. Ensure appropriate technical skill sets are in place, coordinate appropriate training to develop technical skill sets, and ensure that appropriate resources are directed to achieve efficient and effective processes which are in compliant with PMI and Regulatory requirements.
- Play role as trusted business partner by providing business thorough advisory on tax implication and accounting related matters for new business processes, new programs, and other as per business requirements, and could be on transactional base or project base.

What we’re looking for:

- College/University: University degree in business related discipline, preferably with an MBA.
- A minimum eight years of experience with a multinational (or internationally based) organization, in a position requiring adequate knowledge about accounting standards, tax regulation and Treasury practices, having solid knowledge about manufacturing costing.
- Experience dealing with tax audit, external auditors, Vietnam State auditors, Provincial Government officials and financial institution.
- Functional skills:

- Skill Strong analytical skills, abilities to work independently and organize numerous deadlines simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate in a concise and articulate manner
- both verbally and in written correspondence to RHQ.
- Fluency in written and spoken Vietnamese and English.
- Specialized Knowledge Proficiency with Financial Accounting standard and tax regulation.
