Job Summary:
To lead and mentor the Equipment Engineering team within the operations group in ensuring that the availability and optimum performance of all equipment are always achieved at the highest level of quality.

**Responsibilities**:
Lead the debugging and acceptance of new equipment, improve the equipment performance.
Improve the equipment performance, utilization, UPH or UPPH, improve the production yield.
Lead Equipment Engineering team to deal with abnormality in equipment issues timely. Develop innovative and special fixtures to improve productivity and efficiently.
Regularly check the maintenance of equipment, and lead ME team to maintain the equipment timely and correctly
Lead Equipment Engineering team to prepare documents of equipment operation and maintenance.
Fixed and regularly check the inventory, minimum and maximum and control the shelf life of spare parts, continuously reduce overheads.
Lead Equipment teams to achieve KPIs.
Coordination with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, and other support functions to execute business plans.
Assume leadership role in ensuring that the Preventive and Predictive maintenance plans are executed and that its effectiveness are reviewed.
Assume leadership role in addressing major equipment related yield and quality issues.
Ensure a clean, safe and healthy work environment for the organization
Identification and retention of key talents.
Coordination of training and advancement programs to ensure continuous personnel development within the organization
Encourage workers to report violations of company labor, ethics and EHS policies.
Lead the equipment engineering team to meet or exceed KPI targets
Acts as liaison between PRC, US and Vietnam to make sure all engineering process and procedures are aligned.
Drive engineering talents recruitment, team training and development, plan for supporting future business growth needs.
Develop and manage engineering department and project capex budget, and engineering resource plan.
Drive the development of standardization, platforms, design guidelines and streamlined processes and follow through to ensure all the product developments are delivered on time, at cost, within budget, meet or exceed established performance targets.
Develop engineering strategies and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering operation efficiency and effectiveness.
Promote effective communication with the global cross-functional teams, and the continuous improvement with suppliers.

Requirements:
Academic

University or above degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, Manufacturing, or other related Engineering discipline or equivalent.

Years of experience

At least 7 to 10 years of experience in engineering design, manfacturing and product development, in which at least 5 years of experience in people development and engineering organization management experience.

Special knowledge

Must be fluent in spoken and written in English. With fluent Vietnamese or Mandarin are additional advantage.
Strong engineering mindset with in-depth advance energy solutions knowledge is an advantage.
At least 5 years working experience in lithium industry, at least 2 years team management experience.
Good at lithium battery equipment repair, maintenance, replacement, debugging, maintenance, have certain data analysis ability.
Proficient computer skills in Windows, MS Office, and Power Point.
Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills, and teamwork.
Independent, dedicated, proactive mindset, self-driving, strong leadership.
