**Job summary**:
An excellent Application Technologist job based in Ho Chi Minh City has just arisen at one of the world's leading Flavors companies.

**Responsibilities**:
Develop new concepts and flavoring profiles which are innovative and meet either the market trends or specific customer briefs.

Develop concepts which show optimal effect and functionality of flavor systems

Assist the Applications Manager to review and optimize new and all existing raw materials used in the preparation of applied samples for demonstration to customers.

Ensure that the laboratory is kept in a safe, clean and hygienic work condition at all times

Organize the maintenance, cleaning and servicing laboratory equipment as recommended by the equipment manufacturer.

Liaise/collaborate with Flavorists and relevant departments on development of new flavors and concepts

Ensure developments are in compliance with defined legal, religious and customer requirements

Support the business through customer visits with Sales and Marketing

Work with Sales and Marketing to assess and develop new concepts based on market demands.

Assist/guide/advise regional sales personnel in the promotion of innovative flavor and product concepts.

Provide technical assistance to customers

Support in the training of customers, as required.

Promote flavorings internally and to customers.

Participate in evaluation of flavors in finished products and market samples.

Understand and adopt HACCP and “Good Laboratory Practices”, notifying management of any hazardous equipment and/or facilities and practices detrimental to health and safety of staff.

**Experience requirements**:
Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience

Equip with ingredient knowledge and basic sensory analysis skills

Strong customer focus and hands-on/practical

**Education requirements**:
Diploma/Degree in Food Science/Food Technology or Chemical Process or related field

Proficient in project management skills and communication skills in English and Vietnamese
