**Job description**:
**ABOUT THE JOB**:

- Develop and manage embedded software to meet cost, timing, and performance targets
- Deliver high-quality C/C++ code
- Review, approve, and modify production software designs
- Support product development plans to include schedules, product costs, and meeting design inputs
- Validate software in simulation and with real hardware
- Support and troubleshoot systems remotely

**ABOUT YOU**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Engineering degree or equivalent practical work experience
- 3+ years of experience in relevant industries
- Solid understanding of communication protocols and strategies such as CAN bus and/or Modbus TCP
- Ability to write high-quality software in C/C++
- Experience in embedded development
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience with control software and algorithm development
- Experience with version control tools
- Ability to be a team member and to communicate with peers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
