**Position Purpose**

As the Cluster Director of Facility Operations (Engineering and Safety & Security), you will oversee property maintenance, health and safety, and security across the hotels in the cluster.. You will ensure buildings are in excellent condition and safeguard the well-being of guests and team members by adhering to Hilton policies and local regulations.

Additionally, you will manage the overall maintenance, condition, and safety & security of each hotel, ensuring all plant and equipment are serviced as per standards. You will also handle security, fire prevention, and safety issues, maintaining good relationships with relevant governmental organizations.

**Duties & Key Responsibilities**

**Property Management**:

- Organize and administer property management across hotels within the cluster to maintain effective work control and productivity.

**Maintenance and Repairs**:

- Supervise the implementation of a Trouble Report system for general maintenance and repairs across all properties.
- Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and civil work is completed on time to maintain high standards across the cluster.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment in each property.

**Safety and Efficiency**:

- Ensure all plant and equipment are operated safely and efficiently across the cluster.
- Monitor the effects of servicing and maintenance, keeping detailed records for each property.

**Financial and Contract Management**:

- Negotiate terms for service contracts and manage budgeting and financial planning for multiple properties.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising safety or guest satisfaction across the cluster.

**Contractor Coordination**:

- Supervise service contractors to ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all properties.
- Maintain an adequate stock of spare parts and materials for the entire cluster.

**Long-term Planning**:

- Assess long-term requirements and assist in developing a 4-5 year capital plan for the cluster.
- Stay updated with the latest technology and advise management on its impact across all properties.

**Health and Safety**:

- Implement health and safety, energy control, and management directives across the cluster.
- Keep records of all test certificates and licenses for each property.
- Plan and conduct training for fire, health, safety, and security across all properties.
- Emergency planning for natural disaster in line with Hilton protocols.

**Reporting and Compliance**:

- Provide regular reports and maintain an efficient record system for the cluster.
- Ensure compliance with local authorities and utility contracts for all properties.

**Team Management**:

- Select and train engineers, promoting team spirit and development across the cluster.
- Conduct regular inspections and meetings to review performance and progress at each property.

**Security Management**:

- Implement security regulations and fire prevention measures across the cluster.
- Organize patrols, security checks, and emergency drills for all properties.
- Maintain good relationships with local authorities and ensure the safety of guests and team members across the cluster.

**General Duties**:

- Comply with hotel policies and procedures across all properties.
- Ensure team members understand and adhere to hotel rules and regulations.
- Complete special duties as assigned for the cluster.

**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in hotel/building services or a related engineering field.- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive performance and inspire high levels of team member engagement.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.- Specialized knowledge in water treatment, hydraulics, mechanics, chillers, air flows, HVAC, LV, electronics, sound, TV, lighting, elevators, boilers, pumps, fire safety, etc.- Capable of maintaining all hotel building services, including security systems, air conditioning, ventilation, refrigeration, electrical installations, lighting, plumbing, boilers, laundry, k
