Compositor

**Job description**
- **Combines layers of previously created materials (e.g., rendered animation, special effects, graphics, live action, static background plates) to create final images that meet art direction.**:

- **Creates seamless transition from filmed footage into composited content.**:

- **Accountable for meeting productivity and quota targets.**:

- **Integrate layers from CG or other sources into a shot for VFX or full CG projects for films or TVC.**:

- **Maintain the overall look, color balance, and quality for assigned shots and sequences to create uniformity in all finished work**:

- **Basic reprojection in Nuke**:

- **Blue / green screen extraction, wire removal / paint**:

- **Work closely with other departments and art director**

**Technical Skills**
- **Art: have a good eye, recognize what makes an image look good in terms of lighting effects, color, composition and perspective**:

- **Knowledge of compositing programs: be adept at wide range of relevant programs such as After Effects, Maya, Nuke and Photoshop (demonstrated via show-reel)**:

- **Advanced knowledge of matte extraction, painting, roto, 2D motion, compositing**:

- **Understanding of photography, composition, lighting, color and motion**:

- **Strong understanding on the visual effects pipeline**:

- **Enthusiastic, flexible and collaborative approach to work.**:

- **Understanding of common technical terms in the 3d industry**:

- **Working to deadlines: work within given timeframes, be able to complete work under pressure**:

- **Confident, self-motivated, result and client orientated, multi-tasker, team-player**:
