**About this team**

Our merchandising team is dedicated to ensuring our components are produced on-time with our manufacturing partners who share our commitment in elevating the world. They work closely with vendor partners and internal teams to drive product excellence, manage costs, and build positive relationships cross-functionally.

**A day in the life**:

- Report to and support Senior Manager (Men’s and OTW - Based in Hong Kong) to analyse and negotiate on product cost, and drive for standards adherence
- Analyze and validate cost breakdown and negotiate cost as needed, excellent at costing - strive for vendor’s costing SOP adherence
- Understand style details and can communicate comments to vendors
- Be the point of contact in region to support costing data verification in development and bulk.
- Provides product reports based on data collected from vendors & support data input
- Visit factories to work on company initiative manufacturing excellence
- Work closely with our local Quality teams & manufacturing excellence team on costing initiatives

**Job Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Textiles or related fields
- 7+ years experience in a similar role within merchandising environment
- Strong knowledge of technical fabrics, garment construction and related machinery
- Experience in working directly with vendors and ability in driving performance
- Experience in Apparel product costing, experience in Outerwear will be preferrable
- Fluency in English (with local languages and or Mandarin preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, you posesses amazing MS Excel skills (V Lookup and Pivot Table knowledge essential)
- Experience working on PLM like Flex PLM
