**Finance Officer - Vietnam**

**About the role**

This role forms an integral part of the Navitas (Vietnam) Group operation team and will be based within Vietnam. The position reports to the Finance Manager - Vietnam. The overall objective of the position is to provide Finance support to the Finance team. Strong finance and organisation skills are required for this role.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist Finance Manager on day-to-day finance operations such as AP, AR, staff expense claims, cash transactions, financial data entry and records filing in an efficient, compliant, and timely manner.
- Local E-banking system and Oracle system
- Tracking and processing account reconciliations
- Assist to develop improvement in finance operations, policies, and procedures in compliance with local law.
- Support monthly payroll and keep organized record.
- Assist in gathering, filing and initial checking on the HR documents for local registration in compliance with local law.
- Assist in preparing tax declarations and tax filing as per local tax law.
- Preparing statistical/Labor report
- Any other relevant ad-hoc duties in support to finance

**Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience**
- University graduate in Accounting, Finance or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience in accounting
- Good knowledge of VAS, Vietnamese Tax regulation and bookkeeping procedures
- Demonstrated innovative thinking and proactive work habits with keen on details.
- Demonstrated ability to work in tight deadlines, changing priorities and take responsibility for decisions and outcomes.
- Highly organized with good MS Excel background
- Written and verbal capability in English language
- Familiarity with accounting software, experience in payroll calculation or knowledge of compulsory SI is a plus.
